Creig Flessel’s cover for More Fun Comics #41 should certainly appeal to basketball fans who also happen to collect Golden Age comics. This classic book features the last appearance of the Masked Ranger, and is otherwise packed with two-fisted tales about tough cops and brawling adventurers. The all-star roster includes Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, plus Bob Kane and Bernard Baily contributing their considerable artistic talents.
This impressive 9.2 book is typical of the high quality of the Edgar Church/Mile High Collection — and easily ranks at the top of only 7 copies in the CGC Census. (The second-highest grade is a 6.0.) This incredibly clean and bright classic is certainly an impressive Golden Age treasure. Only the slightest sign of this book’s age is apparent around the edges of the cover.
