Read Description ▼
Jim McLaughlin pencils; image size 11" x 16"Jim McLaughlin was one of the many unsung talents that labored away on comic books to little fanfare during his career, but as can be seen on this striking cover to Baffling Mysteries #13, McLaughlin was a gifted professional, with a sure hand and great eye for design and framing. Comic art from the Golden Age is difficult to come by, and fans of pre-code horror books love to acquire these campy, spooky rarities. It is satisfying that the workaday artists from the Golden Age are being rediscovered and given their due respect through the comic art collecting hobby.
