Ashley Wood pencils and inks; illustration; c. 2017; image size 11.75" x 16.5"Beautiful illustration of Hellspawn by Wood, going back to a character that helped launch his career. This illustration was likely intended for for a toy package from Ashley's now defunct 3A toys, sadly, the Hellspawn figure they were working on was never released. The drawing itself is a wonderful, appropriately dark interpretation of the character, capturing Ashley's deceptively spontaneous linework along with his masterful craftsmanship. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition. Initialed by Wood.
