The classic Detective Comics #113 features the bizarre Batman tale "Crime on the Half-Shell," with the Dynamic Duo taking on oyster-swiping pirates while helping a young lady convince her father that she can work on the family's oyster boat. The Boy Commandos keep touring post-war Europe in "When Comrades Meet," going after tulip-swiping gangsters in Amsterdam who've taken over the farm of their old friend Jan.
This 9.8 Detective Comics #113 tops the CGC Census, and is typical of the legendary Pennsylvania pedigree that preserved a treasure trove of wartime Golden Age comics.
