Sensation Comics #2 picks up right where the first issue left off, as Diana and Steve Trevor face off against the evil Nazi, Doctor Poison, who has created a “Reverso” formula that he uses on allied forces, that causes them to do the opposite of what they are told, sowing chaos amongst the ranks. After Diana escape Poison’s clutches, she enlists future sidekick Etta Candy in her efforts to free Trevor.
In the ensuing action, Wonder Woman leads a marching band into the Nazi lair to distract the soldiers. During the struggle Wonder Woman and Etta Candy unmask Doctor Poison who turns out to be Princess Maru, a Japanese Nazi, how’s that for a twist? Showcasing the iconic art of H.G.
