Detective Comics #16 is yet another Golden Age classic, as the pioneering pre-Batman comic book continued to introduce pulp fans to the joys of four-color artwork. Creig Flessel continues his amazing streak of covers that stood out on the newsstands and showcased the book's two-fisted line-up of tough guys. This issue featured the usual cast of detectives and adventurers like Speed Saunders, Bruce Nelson, Bart Regan, Larry Steele, and Cosmo. the Phantom of Disguise.
