Stumbling upon the nascent horror genre, EC would go on to great heights of popularity, as well as controversy, and eventual censorship all in part thanks to this landmark issue. The book features a classic Johnny Craig cover design, and contributions from EC stalwart Al Feldstein, who illustrated the “Buried Alive” Vault of Horror story within, this is an important sleeper key of the late Golden Age which is sure to draw the attention of collectors of classic horror comics.
