DESCRIPTION
Exhibition poster for a 1988 Will Eisner exhibit. Signed and numbered 104/950 by Willi Eisner. Measures approx 24.5" x 38.5". Also includes a "Spirit of Collecting" poster from the 2000 San Diego Comic Book Expo, signed, inscribed, and dated by Eisner, apLimited poster advertising the 1988 Art of Will Eisner Retrospective exhibit at the Museum of Cartoon Art. The poster highlights various Spirit newspaper section title pages around a large panel from Eisner's 1988 graphic novel A Life Force, showcasing the two most important periods of Eisner's decades-long career. The poster is signed and numbered 104/950 by Eisner in the lower righthand corner. It exhibits some wear and light discoloration at the edges but is otherwise in good shape. The San Diego Expo poster shows Eisner's iconic Spirit wandering the convention, spotting fans digging through a bin of classic Spirit comics. The poster is signed and inscribed by Eisner, and dated 7/22/00. It is in excellent condition.
