Bill Draut pencils and inks; 'Too Many Boy Friends; pages 2-6 (page 1 stat); 1950; image size 12" x 18" ea.'Too Many Boy Friends', originally published in 1950s Love Lessons #3 (the story was slated for reprinting in 1958s First Romance Magazine #53, which was never released; the title ended with #52). Page one is a photostat of the original page, with the First Romance logo stated in to replace the Love Lessons logo, the same was done in the mailing information on page 6. A wonderful example of Golden Age romance artwork from Draut. Pen and ink. Art is in very good condition.
Artist Information
After WWII, Draut worked for Harvey Comics, then moved to Crestwood and worked with Kirby and Simon, later he worked for DC on a variety of horror titles and a few superhero books including Teen Titans.
