Frank Brunner pencils; cover prelim; 1974; image size 11" x 13"Great prelim by Brunner, featuring Ka-Zar, Man-God, and Zabu. Pen and ink. Art is in very good condition, the tracing paper is unevenly cut along the edges and shows normal age wear, it has been mounted to a larger board.
The logo and other text elements are recreations on an acetate overlay.
Artist Information
Frank Brunner (born February 21, 1949)[1] is an American comics artist and illustrator best known for his work at Marvel Comics in the 1970s. Brunner started as a writer/artist at Warren for Eerie, Creepy and Vampirella, at Marvel he worked on Howard the Duck, Tomb of Dracula and other horror anthologies, he also worked on Heavy Metal magazine with Elric creator Michael Moorcock.
