Mask Comics #1 offers a visionary cover that's established L.B. Cole as one of the most remarkable artists to work in comics in any era, employing a range of skills he developed at the University of Berlin. His bold, bright style would make him one of the earliest comic artists to be considered seriously by critics. It's quite possible that Cole's covers for Mask Comics have become the most popular and well-known of his entire career.

This quasi-psychedelic cover to Mask #1 is one of the most sought-after books from the Golden Age. The cover for Mask #2 is equally impressive, but this issue holds a particular draw for serious collectors.
