DESCRIPTION
Elena Casagrande pencils and inks; page 7; 2019; image size 10.25" x 15.75"Catwoman goes jewelry shopping in this wonderful opening page by Casagrande, from the memorable run by writer Joelle Jones. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition. Signed by Casagrande.

Artist Information
Elena Casagrande is an Italian artist who made her professional debut in the USA in 2006 with IDW Publishing (Star Trek, Ghost Whisperer, Angel, Doctor Who, X-files). She worked for Marvel (Red Hulk), Image (Hack/Slash), Boom! Studios (Suicide Risk, by Mike Carey, published in Italy by Bao Publishing), Titan Comics (Doctor Who, The Tenth Doctor), DC Comics (Vigilante: Southland, Batgirl, Catwoman, Wonder Woman). With the Black Widow series for Marvel, with scripts by Kelly Thompson and colors by Jordie Bellaire, the whole team won the 2021 Eisner Award for Best New Series. She is currently a member of the Marvel Stormbreakers class of 2023 and artist on the new Blade series, regular cover artist for Bugs Comics on the Kalya fantasy series and Samuel Stern specials. She’s a teacher at the Scuola Romana dei Fumetti.
