Superman vs. El Sorprendente Hombre Arana; Spanish Edition (1977);In 1977, from Barcelona, ??Novaro published in a giant-sized notebook (34 x 25.7 cm, 100 pages including the 4 cover pages) the first team-up of SUPERMAN VS. SPIDERMAN, which would later be republished by Ediciones Zinco and Editorial Planeta DeAgostini in their Marvel-DC Classics volume.
Introduced by Carmine Infantino (DC Comics) and Stan Lee (Marvel Comics), with story by Gerry Conway and art and ink by Ross Andru and Dick Giordano, respectively. The characters are introduced on the cover as SUPERMAN VS. THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN and the adventure is titled "The Battle of the Century." The original American issue was published the previous year.
