Master Comics #7 is a true key issue of the Golden Age, marking a move by a lineup of Fawcett Publishing heroes into a hit new title. That includes Bulletman's debut as he escapes from the short-lived Nickel Comics. This classic issue also provides a home for Zoro the Mystery Man, jungle hero Lee Granger, and cowboy Buck Jones as they leave the Slam-Bang line. (You also get the sole appearances of the War Bird and time-traveler Mark Swift & the Time Retarder.) These early Master books have become beloved rarities featuring a lineup of classic heroes who'd soon be battling for their own place in these anthology titles. Captain Marvel, Jr. would be taking over the title in early 1942, but this is a true showcase for some of Fawcett Publishing's wildest creations.
