Mexican Edition (9/73); Jose Luis Duran cover/story/art; original non-canon Spider-Man story featuring Gwen Stacy; Classic CoverEl Sorprendente Hombre Arana #180 is the second most sought after and valuable of the non-canon Sorprendente Hombre comics illustrated by Jose Luis Duran. Its cover is well known for its depiction of Gwen Stacy's rear end (earning this issue the nickname in collecting circles as the "Big Booty Gwen" issue). It is very rare because La Prensa decreased the number of copies published as it approached the end of the series. By #180, the print run was quite small because the Soprendente Hombre Arana series ended five issues later with #185. This comic rarely appears at auction and no copy has been publicly sold in recent years. Only seven copies have been graded by CGC and even fewer by CBCS. The estimated value of this CBCS 4.5 copy is $3,000-5,000.
