Miracle Comics #4 marked the end of this short-lived title from Hillman Periodicals, with this final issue considered one of the rarest comics ever released by the veteran paperback publishers. Today, however, it's easy to see how this book has become a true treasure of the Golden Age. Miracle went out with a big bang courtesy of Ed Kressy and Norman Fallon's incredible cover art featuring the crime-fighting super-scientist Sky Wizard. That kind of art couldn't be ignored by collectors, and neither could the legacy of Sky Wizard. The heroic genius lived on a "stratosphere plane" that was more like a giant floating island, and Sky Wizard is seen in this issue taking on the robots of an evil mastermind. Sadly, comic fans were promised more adventures next month for Sky Wizard and his back-up stars (including dashing spy K-7 and fellow crimefighter the Scorpion) — but instead, collectors got this beloved artifact of the Golden Age's wildly competitive marketplace!
