Superman #24 offers another classic cover from Jack Burnley, featuring the Man of Steel posing before an unfurled flag. There's also the classic "Perils of Poor Lois," in which Superman uses his super-imagination to do some serious daydreaming about a regular life with Lois Lane. That story includes the first appearance of Lois Lane's father, although this Sam Lane is too much of a fantasy to be canon.
