Action Comics #36 features one of the most classic comic covers of all time — especially in terms of classic robot covers! Fred Ray's beloved art is solely responsible for this Action becoming one of the title's hottest issues, featuring a design that's probably inspired plenty of toys over the decades. High-grade copies of this immortal cover are particularly rare. The only real complaint to be had about this issue of Action is that Ray's wild work sets up a Superman story that's regrettably robot-free!

A remarkably sturdy, bright, and clean copy of Action Comics #36 is on offer in EA#61. According to the CGC census, there are four 9.0 examples registered, and they are all the highest-graded copies. This book is one of three in original condition, and as one can see, it is an impressively well-preserved treasure.
