The only Sunday in the series with all 6 main characters! +Darth Vader!Fabulous example of Russ Manning's Star Wars Sunday strip, published on June 15th, 1980, featuring exceptional images of an X-Wing, an Imperial Star Destroyer, and an Alderaan Cruiser. It should also be noted that this is also the Sunday strip in the entire run to feature all six heroes as well as Darth Vader, making it a special piece among Manning's Star Wars art. The penultimate panel showcases a menacing Darth Vader barking orders at his crew before, arguably, the most memorable hero panel of the entire series, in which a somber Princess Leia pays tribute to a fallen comrade as Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca, C-3PO and R2-D2 look on in dismay. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition.
