Iron Man, Daredevil, and Captain America!Gene Coloan, one of the standout artists of Marvel's Silver and Bronze Ages, brings his extraordinary talents to the cover of a book dedicated to his life's work. Colan delivers three of the heroes he's most closely associated with, Iron Man, Daredevil, and Captain America, along with villains for each, the Owl, the Red Skull, and the Mandarin. All crafted exquisitely in pencil on a huge 19" x 21.5" board. Pencil on bristol board. Art is in excellent condition. Signed and dated by Colan, signed and inscribed on the reverse.

Eugene Jules Colan was an American comic book artist best known for his work for Marvel Comics, where his signature titles include the superhero series Daredevil, the cult-hit satiric series Howard the Duck, and The Tomb of Dracula, considered one of comics' classic horror series. He co-created the Falcon, the first African-American superhero in mainstream comics, Carol Danvers, who would become Ms. Marvel and Captain Marvel, and the supernatural vampire hunter Blade.
