A 15% BUYER'S PREMIUM WILL BE ADDED TO THIS ITEM AT CONCLUSION OF THE AUCTION Jim Aparo pencils and inks; cover; 1981; image size 10" x 15"Legendary Batman artist Jim Aparo, whose work with the character spans three decades, delivers a classic Bronze Age cover featuring the Caped Crusader thrust into the world of Gothic horror in 'The Ghost of Wayne Manor', a haunted house tale featuring the Man-Bat. Aparo's skills make him the ideal artist for this cover, and he delivers with a truly terrified Batman, candle in hand, as he gingerly steps through the halls of his beloved home. An exceptional example of both Aparo’s Batman as well as DC's long standing commitment to keeping horror and comics intertwined. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition. Signed by Aparo, the original signature was photostatted and repositioned, it is underneath the stat.
