Alberto Ponticelli pencils/Todd McFarlane inks; page 20; 2000; image size 10.25" x 15.5"Great page from the Spawn spin-off series featuring the two hard-boiled detectives. This issue's inks were credited to McFarlane and Jonathan Glapion, this page has all the hallmarks of McFarlane and we are confident that he supplied all of the inks on this page. A great example of work from the hand of the master from very shortly before he started doing all of his work digitally. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition.
The backgrounds in panels 8 and 9 were repeated from panel 6 in the published book.

Todd McFarlane is a Canadian comic book artist, writer, and entrepreneur who is one of the founding members of Image comics where he created Spawn. In addition to being credited for co-creating Eddie Brock (Venom), Todd also founded Mcfarlane toys and an Entertainment company of the same name. Todd's other notable works include Marvel's The Amazing Spider-Man and Batman: Year Two.
