Journey Into Mystery #6 is already considered a classic pre-Code comic for Bill Everett's outstanding work depicting a skeletal wedding. It's also a great reminder that Stan Lee's editorial stint at Atlas Comics during the '50s including some classically ghoulish covers to rival EC and other publishers. Outraged parents probably contributed to this book becoming one of the rarest early Journey Into Mystery comics, with Everett going into superb detail while gussying up the interior tale of "Til Death Do Us Part!" That story is really about a very human serial killer who knocks off his new brides for money, and eventually runs into a killer bride who murders her husbands for fun. There's also vampires and reanimated corpses that have helped to make this beloved book a vital collectible for the fans pursuing Atlas ghoul covers.
