Frank Springer pencils/Mike Gustovich inks; page 15; 1984; image size 10" x 15"Duke, Roadblock, and Steeler rush to make sure Storm Shadow is safely locked up in Alcatraz, while Rock 'n Roll, Zap, and Deep Six (piloting the SHARC flying submarine) confront fleeing Cobra agents Firefly and Wild Weasel in the Florida Everglades. Great early Marvel G.I. Joe page by Springer, full of characters and action. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition.

Frank Springer was an American comics artist best known for Marvel Comics' Dazzler and Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Springer was a president of the Society and a founding member of the Berndt Toast Gang, its Long Island chapter.
Mike Gustovich is an American comic book artist, he created the superhero team Justice Machine in 1981, which went on to be featured in comics from several publishers. He inked most of the 1990's Milestone Media series Icon (written by Dwayne McDuffie and penciled by M.D. Bright). Specializing primarily in inking, he produced art for dozens of series for various publishers, including Marvel Comics, DC Comics, First Comics, Comico, and Eclipse Comics.
