It is nearly impossible to absorb what's happening with a casual viewing. Take for example this cover on Young Allies #10, the eye is drawn to multiple areas at the same time, as there is a feast of information in every inch of the piece. Guillotines burning and collapsing, Toro blazing across the page, the melee in the foreground and the background as well, and the Young Allies in the center of the scene are all compelling, rendered with amazing skill, all the pieces fit together to make yet another classic and memorable Schomburg Golden Age treasure.
