Highest GradedIf there were ever the comic book equivalent of a Tex Avery cartoon, replete with howling wolf in a zoot suit with his eyes popping out and a horn going "aa-ooo-gah," this is the issue. At once innocent and perfectly admissible for public consumption at the local five-and-dime while simultaneously a scandalous wink towards the baser natures of humankind, this is a true classic of comic book history. Quite possibly the best Archie cover ever, this image of Betty in a come-hither pose, overlooked by a leering photo of Archie is one of the finest in-jokes of the Golden Age, it's a wonder this cover saw the light of day. A serious must-have book.
