classic Jerry Robinson black Joker cover; scarce
In this entertaining issue of Batman, the cover shows a variety of Joker-themed vehicles converging on the Dynamic Duo, the reference is to an interior tale where the Clown Prince of Crime assumes all of the hallmarks of Batman, particularly a Joker-signal, which alerts the villain to criminal opportunities, which he attends in a Jokermobile, and Jokercopter, both making their debut in this exciting issue. Beyond the awesome Jerry Robinson cover, the issue also contains the usual tales of derring-do, including a yarn where Batman gets shot in the knee, causing Bruce Wayne to suspiciously hobble around, almost giving up the whole secret identity thing.
