"Follow the Leader!", script by Roger Stern, pencils by Sal Buscema (breakdowns) and Joe Rubinstein (finished art), inks by Joe Rubinstein; The Leader has Bruce Banner, Doc Samson, General Ross and Spad McCracken as his prisoners; He laughs maliciously as he details the events that led to his resurrection; Doc Samson manages to break free of his bonds; He rushes towards the Leader, but a post-hypnotic suggestion prevents him from actually attacking him; Samson realizes that only the primitive mind of the Hulk can hope to overcome the Leader's mental powers; Banner, though, refuses to become the Hulk again; they decide to make use of a remote controlled Hulk robot.
Artists Information
Ernesto "Ernie" Chan born and sometimes credited as Ernie Chua, was a Chinese-American comics artist, known for work published by Marvel Comics and DC Comics, including many Marvel issues of series featuring Conan the Barbarian. Chan also had a long tenure on Batman and Detective Comics. Other than his work on Batman, Chan primarily focused on non-superhero characters, staying mostly in the genres of horror, war, and sword and sorcery.
Josef "Joe" Rubinstein is a comic book artist and inker, most associated with inking Marvel Comics' The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe and the 1982 four-issue Wolverine miniseries by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller. He is also known to be the one to have given artist Art Adams his first professional work.
