80 Page Giant cover; Full image of Sgt Rock is drawn by Joe Kubert; Background and logo are statThe legendary Joe Kubert is well known for a variety of genres of comics like superhero, science fiction, adventure but quite possibly most of all, his amazing war comics. The image of Sgt. Rock on this cover is beautifully penciled and inked. It evokes the scars of war. The losses Rock has endured during his time in the military. An amazingly evocative, moody cover.
Art is in excellent condition.

Joe Kubert (Sept. 18, 1926 - Aug. 12, 2012) began his career at the age of 13. He was also an art teacher and founder of The Kubert School. He is best known for his work on the characters like Sgt. Rock, Hawkman, Tor, Son of Sinbad and the Viking Prince.
