DESCRIPTION
seven page hand-typed script for "The Lumber Millionaire's Will" from Action Comics 33
Jerry Siegel was writing scripts as fast as he could in the wake of Superman's massive success after debuting in 1938's Action #1. The co-creator of the Man of Steel would type out the stories using mimeograph paper in his typewriter, before tearing off the mimeograph and submitting these legendary early stories for publication. There were plenty of hired hands helping Siegel's partner Joe Shuster keep up with the artwork, but these scripts are genuine artifacts of Jerry Siegel's own creative process in the early days of his timeless creation.
Siegel typed his scripts using mimeograph paper in his typewriter. He would then tear off the mimeograph paper and submit these for publication.
