Artists Information
Jack Abel was an American comic book artist best known as an inker for leading publishers DC Comics and Marvel Comics. He was DC's primary inker on the Superman titles in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and inked penciler Herb Trimpe's introduction of the popular superhero Wolverine in The Incredible Hulk #181. He sometimes used the pseudonym Gary Michaels.
Jeffrey Catherine Jones was an American artist whose work is best known from the late 1960s through the 2000s. Jones created the cover art for over 150 books through 1976, as well as venturing into fine art during and after this time. Fantasy artist Frank Frazetta called Jones "the greatest living painter." Although Jones first achieved fame as simply Jeff Jones and lived for a time as male, she later changed her name and was legally recognized as female.
Carlos Garzon is a Columbian comic book artist who's famously worked on the comic book adaptions of Star Wars the Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. For many years Carlos has worked with both Marvel comics and DC on titles such as Star Trek, Spider-Man, Justice League and Doom Patrol.
Ernesto Colón Sierra was a stateside Puerto Rican comics artist, known for his wide-ranging career illustrating children's, superhero, and horror comics, as well as mainstream nonfiction. Worked on the following titles among others: Creepy, Eerie, Vampirella, Arak, Son of Thunder, Arion, Lord of Atlantis, The Flash, Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman.
