Artists Information
David Emmett Cockrum was an American comics artist known for his co-creation of the new X-Men characters Nightcrawler, Storm, and Colossus as well as the antiheroine Black Cat. Cockrum was a prolific and inventive costume designer who updated the uniforms of the Legion of Super-Heroes. He did the same for the new X-Men and many of their antagonists in the 1970s and early 1980s.
Tom Sutton was an American comic book artist who's best known for his work with Marvel comics and Warren Publishing. Tom's most notable works include Famous Monsters of Filmland, Creepy, and Marvel comics presents featuring the muck-monster Man-Thing.
Brown bounced back and forth from Marvel to DC throughout his career which began in the Golden Age, primarily known for illustrating Challengers of the Unknown for over a decade, Brown worked on a wide swath of genres and titles, from Western to Horror to Superhero books. His last great contribution to comics was the character Bullseye, who first appeared in Daredevil #131.
