While Ghost Rider crawls under the debris of Deathwatch's demolished office building, Linda Wei reports in a live broadcast that Ghost Rider is responsible for the deaths in the building's homeless shelter basement. Ghost Rider hears voices of the survivors and anguishes over the death surrounding him, vowing vengeance. Meanwhile, Deathwatch soaks in the pain and death from his new office, and summons Hag and Troll. With Beck now superfluous, Deathwatch kills the assistant. At the demolition site, Ghost Rider encounters a dying woman and comforts her in her final moments.
