the sixth main expansion of Pokemon TCGThe Gym Heroes set was the first set to introduce Stadium Cards to Pokemon TCG and changed the layout from previous sets. This sixth set has 132 cards in all including the desirable Erika’s Dragonair, Rocket’s Moltres, and Brock’s Rhydon cards. The first set to feature Owner’s Pokemon, who represented teams that contained specific types, like rock and fire, which was a controversial decision as this change blocked players from using cards assigned to another team. This US set box contains cards not featured in the main Japanese version, making or some interesting rarity potential.
Released in August, 2000 - Gym Heroes contains 132 new cards centering around the first four Gym Leaders: Pewter Gym Leader Brock, Cerulean Gym Leader Misty, Vermillion City Gym Leader Lt. Surge, and the Celadon City Gym Leader Erika. The box contains 36 packs with 11 cards each totaling 396 cards. Sealed boxes typically equate to gem mint cards on the inside. This box was purchased by the consignor, a highly respected long standing dealer, directly from the distributor and sat in his collection until now. Sale is final and As Is.
