from the seventh main expansion of Pokemon TCGThis set of cards was released a few months after the Gym Heroes set and was designed to be an inverse of that set, employing many of the same changes and team-based play. The Gym Challenge’s symbol is an amphitheater with a white stage and black tiers, the antithesis of the Gym Heroes set. The four Gym Leaders in this set are Sabrina, Koga, Blaine, and Giovanni, and some of the most desirable cards in this set are Blaine’s Charizard, Erika’s Venusaur, and Rocket’s Mewtwo. Like Gym Heroes this set features 132 cards and is the seventh expansion pack in the game, released in the year 2000.
This 132 card set focused on the last four leaders from the Kanto region: Gym Leader Sabrina, Gym Leader Koga, Gym Leader Blaine, and Gym Leader Giovanni. The box contains 36 packs with 11 cards each totaling 396 cards. Sealed boxes typically equate to gem mint cards on the inside.This box was purchased by the consignor, a highly respected long standing dealer, directly from the distributor and sat in his collection until now.
