the second main expansion of Pokemon TCGThe second booster box in the First Generation, the Jungle booster features many rarities for collectors, for example, all 16 holo cards in the set were printed without jungle symbols, and these misprints sell for multiples of the regular holos. The set also features the painfully scarce Ivy Pikachu, that was mistakenly placed in the set, and are rumored to only appear once in every ten boxes, could this box contain an Ivy? An additional footnote about this set, it is the first one to include holo and regular variants of cards, doubling the number of rare cards in a set. This practice was introduced into English language sets expanding on the smaller Japanese sets that these cards were based on.
64 new character cards were added in this expansion pack debuting in the United States in June, 1999. Features art by Ken Sugimori, Mitsuhiro Arita, Keiji Kinebuchi, and Kagemaru Himeno. The box contains 36 packs with 11 cards each totaling 396 cards.
This box was purchased by the consignor, a highly respected long standing dealer, directly from the distributor and sat in his collection until now. Sale is final and As Is. No returns under any circumstance.
