There was also a different kind of tragic backstory fueled by Peter Parker’s guilt over the death of his Uncle Ben. A Very Fine (8.0) copy of a landmark in not only comics, but popular culture, this copy is a stunning presentation of Spider-Man's first appearance. Containing not only off-white to white pages, but also sharp edges and deep colors, Spider-Man has never looked better. His iconic costume looks gorgeous against the gray background and yellow text. This is a beautiful piece of history. There are many copies of this book in existence, but the vast majority of them are in lower grades. This book is earth-shatteringly desirable at any grade. At an 8.0, this copy is in the top 10% of registered copies. Amazing Fantasy #15 will never stop increasing in value. Spider-Man will outlive us all, and this book is an excellent reminder of that. Record prices are happening every day. It should be noted that a CGC 8.0 sold in March 2021 for $385,000. In today's fast paced comic market, March might as well have been 2 years ago.
