Will Eisner pencils and inks; 'Spirit's Women Club' header illustration; 1975; image size 12" x 7"Stunning illustration by Eisner, used as the header image for the 'Spirit's Women Club' text piece that was written as a round table discussion about The Spirit by all of his female acquaintances. Featuring P'Gell, Thorn Strand, Ellen Dolan, Sand Saref, and Satin, all surrounding a large portrait of The Spirit. The piece also features a hand painted overlay to indicate the grey tones that were added in the printing process, this is a fully realized painting of The Spirit by Eisner. Pen and ink w/painted overlay. Art is in excellent condition. Signed and dated by Eisner.

Will is famous for his experiments in content and form in comics as well as popularizing the term "Graphic Novel". Will Eisner's most recognized works are The Spirit and A contract with God.
