John Carpenter classic; Jamie Lee Curtis (debut) & Donald Pleasance; 1st entry in the Halloween franchiseThis rare VHS is from the second printing by Media Home Entertainment, released in 1981 to coincide with the release of Halloween II, These printings have the original sound mix from the film, which is only found on a few disc releases. Both of these VHS releases misspelled Michael Myers as "Meyers" in the promotional copy at the back of the box, setting a trend that continued through many home video releases.
What we have here is the Holy Grail of Horror Movies! The 1978 John Carpenter Classic “Halloween". This sealed VHS tape has an IGS Grade of 9.0-9.5.
This is one of if not the greatest slasher horror movies of all time! Spawning a franchise still as popular as ever 45 years later. With an unbelievable 9.0-9.5, for such an early print, this could potentially be the highest grade on earth!
