Marvel Mystery Comics #39 once again has Alex Schomburg cramming action into every corner for another classic WWII cover. The Human Torch and Toro have plenty of Nazis to take on as they melt down Axis weaponry in a wintery background. The interior story, however, simply has the Torch and Toro caught up with Stateside spies in the "Smugglers of Death!" It's left to the Sub-Mariner to take on the proper Nazi forces when the Axis makes a bad decision to invade Coney Island. The Patriot also has his own story to foil some Nazis in New York City, while the Angel battles bizarre Fish Men in Connecticut!
